Affectionately known as "The Commish", Chris' undying dedication and passion for the game is the reason we have been playing wallyball since 1993.

Chris' real name is Edward, and he hates spiders almost as much as his first name.  Chris also enjoys playing racquetball and biking and runs the Smash Mouth Fantasy Football League (SMFF).  Chris is a big fan of "The Sopranos", "South Park", and "Family Guy".  Chris has a Jack Russell Terrier named Loosie.

Bob and Sheri are inseparable as a team.  They have been part of numerators championship teams, and are an essential part of the league both on and off the wallyball court.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW:
Bob had a childhood crush on Barbara Eden ("I Dream of Jeannie").  You can usually count on Bob to be late for everything. Sheri once shouted an obscenity at a wallyball opponent.  Sheri is also an accomplished bowler.  The Peretti 4th of July party is the wallyball event of the summer, and Bob's fireworks display has become legendary.

Stan and Judy are two of the elite players in the league.  They seldom miss a game, often volunteer to sub when needed, and continuously offer their time teaching the "newbies" the finer points of the game.

Stan is a dedicated fantasy football player.  Stan also plays organized fast pitch baseball and soccer.  Judy's simplest pleasure is food, she loves to eat.  Judy also enjoys playing the greyhounds and slots at Wheeling Island.  Stan and Judy have an English Springer Spaniel named Bubba.

 

 

    

 

BRENDA HEALY
Brenda has played more games than anyone else in the league.  Her intelligent play and excellent sets make her one of the top three girls in the league.

Brenda attended Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) on a double scholarship (basketball and volleyball).  She played point guard on ENC's 8th ranked basketball team, and won 3 of 4 State Championships on their volleyball team.  As a senior, she was voted Female Athlete of the Year.  After college, Brenda has devoted her career to helping children at risk. 

 

 

 

 

AMY WATT
Amy's enthusiasm and spirit is unparalleled by anyone in our league.  The energy that she displays on the court certainly separates her from all other wallyball players.

Dee has played on numerous wallyball championship teams.  Her sets are crisp, and her hustle undeniable.  Her unselfish and aggressive style make her an excellent teammate.

Dee loves her dog Daisy, and they rarely miss their daily walks.  She is a huge NASCAR and country music fan.  Dee is seldom in a bad mood, and is usually the life of the wallyball socials.

 

 

 

JOE KONOPKA
Dedication, passion, and the will to win are all qualities that Joe routinely displays on the wallyball court.  These attributes, both on and off the court, make Joe an excellent ambassador to our league.

Joe graduated from Pittsburgh University with a degree in History.  He is a dedicated firefighter, but a horrible trivial pursuit player.  Joe continuously refutes rumors that he was dropped off by the spaceship involved in the famous Kecksburg UFO incident.

 

 

ANGIE YANDORA
Known for her hustle, Angie can be seen diving for balls that seemingly are impossible to get to.  Her love for the game is evidenced by the fact that she travels 45 miles down the mountain (sometimes in in awful weather) to play on Thursday nights.

Angie graduated from Duquesne University.  Her nickname is "Peaches".  She is known by her pretty manicure, and lives in a renovated motel rumored to be haunted.

JAMI PROHASKA
No one has more fun playing wallyball than Jami.  She is an excellent player, as evidenced by being part of the winter 2009 league championship team.  Jami's contributions to our social events, especially the Christmas party is invaluable.

We once had to stop a volley because Jami got her hair caught in the net.  Play continued ten minutes later when everyone stopped laughing.  Jami enjoys vacationing in Cancun, Mexico.  She is also an excellent bowler, when she can be torn away from the poker machines.

One of the "original three", Dino has one of the hardest power serves in the league.  He is an excellent all-around player known for his selflessness.

Clyde rarely misses a Thursday night. He possesses one of the best spikes and smoothest sets in the league.  Clyde has recruited more new players for the wallyballers league than anyone else.

Clyde once lived in Karlsruhe, Germany.  He is notoriously known for his joke telling abilities.  He once had a wardrobe malfunction on a bowling alley.  Clyde is an accomplished bowler, carrying an average of 202.
